Winter 2025: Alumni Dance Workshop
Try a new style or indulge with a personal favourite with our Alumni Dance Instructors! Full day workshop will include an opportunity to connect & network during a light lunch. Lunch included in registration. Dietary restrictions are requested upon registration.

BEGINNER CONTEMPORARY

Founded on natural sources of movement, basic technique focuses on body awareness, use of space and dynamics. This class is for beginners with little to no dance experience in contemporary. This class concludes as part of the Recreation Dance Performance Showcase.

INTERMEDIATE JAZZ

Jazz styles range from classic to contemporary. Students will learn basic technique, progressive skills, and unique choreography. This class is open to young adults with developmental disabilities the in the KW community. This class is about creating a positive atmosphere for everyone involved through dance. Participants are paired with current Laurier student volunteers to learn different movement patterns, have fun and develop a sense of community. Participants will have the option of taking part in the Recreation Dance Performance Showcase with their new friends!
