2022 Summer Camps - Golden Hawk Multi-Sport Camp Week 5 (Aug 2-5, 2022*Short week*)

Entering its 33rd summer, the Golden Hawk Multi-Sport Camp at Wilfrid Laurier University is committed to providing a safe and fun camp experience for our campers. Along with the recommendations of Public Health we are committed to ensuring up-to-date safety practices to protect our campers, parents, and staff as we navigate the ongoing challenges of COVID-19.

Although this summer will be a bit different, we will provide a fun camp experience through creative programming and distanced cohort sport activities and drills. Each sport and activity session will help campers become more confident and competent with the fundamental movement skills, emphasize skill development from the stages of the LTAD while promoting teamwork and cooperation.

Campers will be required to complete daily COVID-19 screening.

Please note that all children over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated against covid-19 as per government requirements.

The safety of our campers, their families and our staff are our priority. We recognize that public health recommendations and vaccination requirements are being updated regularly; we will be sure to provide the most up-to-date requirements for our campers and parents as they become available. We will adhere to all current health and safety measures, including reduced group sizes and cleaning protocols where required

Some campers may need support or an accommodation to adhere to safety measures, our staff are committed to assisting campers with these measures.

WE ARE A NUT FREE CAMP! Camp days are full and busy! Campers are going to need a healthy, nut free lunch, snacks, and water to keep them going.
