The Athletics and Recreation Department at Wilfrid Laurier University is committed to providing a safe and fun camp experience for our campers. The safety of our campers, their families and our staff are our priority. We strive to make each camper feel welcome and included while finding a sense of community and a place to feel at home.
Soccer Camp: (Co-ed 8-13 years): This camp offers an exciting partnership with the Laurier varsity soccer team! Learn the basics of soccer skills in a safe fun atmosphere while participating in age and skill appropriate groupings. This recreational soccer camp will offer the ability to build on the fundamentals of the sport, and improve basic game skills – all while incorporating some fun aspects of camp such as co-operative games, swimming and rock climbing! This camp includes 3 swim times per week.

Date: July 28-August 1, 2025
Age of Camp Participants/Grouping: Co-Ed Soccer Camp is designed for boys and girls 8-13 years of age. Groups will be made based on age and skill level. Our staff to camper is ratio is 1:10 for this program.
Staff: The Laurier Team staff and athletes and Laurier student counsellors!
Facilities: The Laurier Athletic Complex located at 75 University Ave West, Waterloo. (corner of King Street and University Ave)
Camp hours of operation are from: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $295.00 per child *Extended Care available for an additional cost
Refund Policy and Notes
In the event that you cancel your child’s camp session, a minimum of 10 days’ notice prior to the start date of the camp is required for a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Should you fail to give 10 days’ notice, you will be required to pay the full camp fee.
Liability Waiver to be read and agreed to during registration:
I give my permission for my son/daughter to participate in the Golden Hawk Multi-Sport Camp. We will not hold liable the camp directors, counselors, staff, Wilfrid Laurier University or their staff for any personal theft, illness, or injury sustained while attending. As per the Personal Health Information Protection Act, filling out an OHIP number on a camp application form is voluntary. Should a parent or guardian choose not to supply this information, they should be reachable in the event of an emergency.
